We're Seeing Spots

 No doubt about it, animal print is hot!  We happen to be crazy over leopard print, and we're seeing spots with all of these new arrivals. 

If you're looking for a fresh twist on the print, try it in a color.  For example, this blue formal is just plain fun.  The cutout at the chest adds a little "ooh la la" without revealing too much skin.  And would you take a look at that back...breath taking!!!

If you're not quite brave enough to go with a colored leopard print, try accenting the traditional pattern with a bright color.  We've seen it in blue, orange, and green, but we're wild about the pink in the dress you see above.  It adds a youthful touch to a traditional print.  

If you're still scared of color, you can always stick with the traditional hues in the leopard print fabric.  However, don't be afraid to spice it up a little.  In this gown, strategic cut outs add some variety, and again...make a statement when you walk away with a sexy back!!

Celebrity Prom: Jennifer Aniston

It's time for another celebrity prom picture!  Can you guess who this lovely lady is?  She hasn't aged much, but her hair has certainly improved! 

That's right, before she starred in "Friends," before "Along Came Polly, " before all her blockbuster hits, this was California native, Jennifer Aniston.  As you can tell, she's always been a class act.

Do you ever wonder whatever happens to these dates?  Poor fellow, he'll always be known as Jennifer Aniston's date to the prom.  Then again, he may be famous in his own right. The world may never know!

Wedding Wednesday: What's Your Bridal Style

Have you ever searched "wedding gowns" on Pinterest?  The results are overwhelming!  We got to thinking that it might help narrow down the search if you knew your Bridal style, so we have a few pictures that might help guide you. 

The Modern Bride: if this gown appeals to you, you're probably a fan sleek lines and style.  You're more the likely a trendy gal who sticks with a lot of black and gray.  You probably prefer a stiletto over any other shoe, and your jewelry selections are minimal. You're wedding will be modern, elegant and  will go off with out a hitch. 

The Dramatic Bride: You're probably the life of the party if you like this gown.  We're thinking you probably have big hair and even bigger jewelry.  If that's the case, you plan to stand out on your wedding day with a show-stopping design.  Go ahead...after all, you are the Belle Of The Ball!!

Newbies

We're continuing our quest of bringing the store to you.  Here's the thing - these are literally a few of hundreds of dresses available, so be sure to stop by and see us.  That being said, who's ready for a some virtual retail therapy?!

Our first gown is fun and flirty, but still modest.  It is the perfect Spring color and the portrait of femininity. Lucky for you, we've got this size 8 design from The Cool Collect for only $375!  

This is the portrait of class.  The nude underlay with black lace is timeless.  This dress could take you from Prom to pageant, and even works as a future formal to be worn on a cruise line or at a black tie event.  You're sure to get you moneys worth since it never goes out of style.  This Flirt, size 6, retails for $450, but we've got it priced at $250!! 

The last dress was classy, but if it's not you're style, that's okay too. Show you're inner wild-side in this sexy leopard print gown by Party Time. It's a size 6, and we've got it  priced to sell at $320!! 

This sapphire, blue gown would make a perfect investment piece.  Not only are you sure to be the Belle Of The Ball in this showstopper, it could double as a pageant gown this summer.  It's a Panopoly Size 0.  It retails for $600, but we've got it for....$350!!

"Radiant Orchid" is the official color of 2014, and as you can see, this dress embodies that. It's fun and sexy, and just puts you in the spirit of Spring.  

This is another gown that could easily cross over from prom to pageant.  Its chiffon skirt would be perfect for dancing the night away or walking the runway.  Either way, this Sherri Hill is timeless and elegant with it's sweetheart neckline and simple cut,  but it's still youthful thanks to the splash of coral.  We've got this size 6 priced at only $275!

Orange Is The New Black

We're finally starting to thaw out around here, and we couldn't be happier about it!  In in the spirit of Spring we wanted to show you some of our favorite looks.  

Orange is all the rage this year.  It really is the new black, so if you're wanting to be trendy make sure to invest in a few good pieces.   You can't go wrong with a sundress.  Dress it up with the right shoes, or throw on some sandals for a casual look.  Either way, you're sure to improve your mood.

We found this nice combination of orange on Pinterest, so we had to show you how to re-create it.  We love this dress for summertime, but make it work for spring too by adding a jean jacket.  Be sure to pair it with a nice bag and some statement jewelry!

Celebrity Prom: Lady Gaga

Do you remember when Lady Gaga used to dress normally?  Didn't think so, us either.  Apparently she's always been a fit eccentric in her clothing choices...even in high school.  The pop star born by the name of Stefanie Joanne Angelina Germanotta (say that five times really fast) pushed the barriers from an early age. 

Guess this is her Poker Face.  Haha. Okay, corny joke.  Either way, we're just glad she didn't show up dressed like this....

With all the hoopla surrounding Prom season, we would be bad to neglect all the fun wedding topics floating around out there.  That's why we thought that it would be a good time to show you one of our newest arrivals.

Hey, ya'll.  We're pretty confident that this is the most wonderful time of the year.  We've got Prom well underway, and we're getting new items every single day. 1. We are now accepting Spring clothing.  Items must be washed, ironed, and on a hanger.  Stop by most week days. You'll defiantly make room for new clothes as you clean out your closet, and you could make a few bucks too.

It is so hard to think about spring with all this winter weather plaguing us.  Okay, the word "plague" may be strong, but we are soooo over it!  Moving on...back to spring...Prom is right around the corner and we are so excited to show you some of our new arrivals.

We are soooo ready for spring, so we thought that it would be a good time to a do a Pinterest Copy Look  

We love the coral in this striped shirt.  It's light, and comfortable, and a great transition between the seasons.  You can pair it with come capris like you see here and add some neutral accessories..all of which can be found at Michelle's!

Honestly, it's a simple look to imitate, and we're about to make it easier.  You probably already have the jeans in your closet.  Now all you need is a light and comfortable top.  We've got you covered with our selection of new and gently used clothing.

Wedding Wednesday

In all the excitement of spring and prom, we can't forget about our brides.  So many of ya'll got rings for Christmas and New Years, and many of you reading will get engaged on Valentine's Day.  It's just such an exciting time!!  If you're planning your wedding on a budget (and who isn't) we want to help you out.

What A Day

First of all, can someone please shoot that groundhog.  Ugh...six more weeks of winter!  That is not what we were wanting to hear. The good news is that we still have plenty of winter stock at our Glasgow location, so stop by to shop.  You're winter wardrobe will need a "pick-me-up" with six weeks left of this mess.   

Moving on to bigger and (hopefully) better things...The Super Bowl.  We know there's not much to talk about in terms of fashion, but goodness, we're so excited.  We hope you eat 'til you pop and yell at the TV until you lose your voice. We hope you watch all the commercials and that your favorite team wins.  Most importantly we hope you have a great time with family and friends!!

Spring Fever

The weather is glorious here in South Central Kentucky today...60 degrees and sunny.  Yes, please!! We won't be fooled though.  OldMan Winter will rear his ugly head again, but for now, we couldn't be more excited about.
