Halloween: Kids Costumes

Yesterday we showed you some of our favorite homemade adult costumes, so we thought we would find some cute ideas for the kiddos too.  Of course Pinterest gave us some great ideas, and we're excited to share them with  you now.

What little girl doesn't want to be a Disney Princess?  Yes, it's true - you could run to the store and buy one off the shelf.  You could also get creative.  Tulle is a super cheap fabric and doesn't have to be hemmed which makes it "no sew."  We can handle that.

Maybe your little lady would rather play the Disney villain.  That's fine.  We think this costume is precious. May we suggest that you skip the 101 Dalmatian pups.  All you need is a black dress, a leopard print sweater, some pearl jewelry, and red shoes.  Add a little face paint and a Dollar Store wig, and you've got the sweetest monster we've ever seen.

In keeping with the Disney theme, we love this costume inspired by the movie "Up."  You're little guy more than likely already has a button down and khakis in the closet.  Add a blue pullover sweater, a yellow bow-tie, and some cheap glasses, and you've got the makings of a great Halloween outfit.  To top it off, make a walker out of PVC pipes and tie on some balloons.  This is so cute, and really isn't all that expensive.

Ok, this one isn't Disney inspired, but we couldn't help ourselves.  This is the cutest thing we've seen.  Dig through all those random bags you've been keeping and find an Abercrombie and Fitch one.  Cut some arm holes and you're in business.  Just look at this little model.

Hope you enjoyed these kiddos and their parents' creativity as much as we have. However, if you're a slacker, we've got your back.  Stop by our store for a great selection of PRE-made costumes at a great price.

  Happy Halloween (Eve)!!
