Scarves

We're talking accessories this week on the blog, and today it's all about scarves.  They can truly transform an outfit, they are timeless but also wonderfully popular right now.  Yes, we love scarves. We love them because they make a statement about you.

A bold printed scarf helps add flair to a basic outfit.  Plus, you can really let your personality shine though.  Animal print, a colorful solid, chevron pattern, you name it...it can be done. 

Infinity scarves are very popular these days and with good reason.  You don't have to tie them, so they're convenient.  They're also practical.  Aside from being trendy, scarves do serve a purpose...they keep us warm.  The picture above is a great example of how scarves are both functional and fashionable. 

The scarf in the last picture was comfy and somewhat casual.  Well, the scarf you see above does just the opposite...it dresses up an outfit.  Plus, the color gives you a nice pop.  Remember what we said earlier, you can always add a bold print to showcase  your personality. 

This is probably the most traditional way of tying a scarf.  In this case, the scarf neither adds color nor flair.  It is simply there as an addition to the outfit.  Instead of a necklace this adds a little something extra without being the "statement" piece of the outfit.
